ADAPTER PLATES – SAPALA PLATE LOCKING SYSTEM

Adapter plates serve as a connector between the hitch and the drawbar frame on the tractor and are an important component of the entire hitch system.

The dimensions of the plate depend on the tractor model on which the system is to be installed.

The most important parameters are: mounting hole spacing, plate length, pin diameter, D-value (towing capacity), and S-value (maximum vertical load).

 

At Sapala, we have developed a locking system for adapter plates to ensure that every user can find a solution suited to their needs:

  • LBPU (Standard) – system with a traditional handle
  • LB5S (Comfort) – system allowing convenient one-hand plate opening, with automatic locking
  • LBBI (Manual) – system based on pins with safety clips, a more economical solution with high plate performance
  • LBSG – opening system with upper pins
  • LBNH – Sauermann type, dedicated to Sauermann hitches (“slot-type”)
